European BPOs to enhance in a Philippines


MANILA, Philippines -  European firms intent in business routine outsourcing (BPO) are approaching to enhance their operations in a Philippines this year as a zone continues to be clever in a country, European Union Ambassador to a Philippines Guy Ledoux said.

“This (BPO sector) is a approach for European companies to boost their competitiveness…so European companies in a BPO zone will also enhance their operations in 2012,” he said.

The BPO sector, deliberate as a fever attention in a Philippines, is foresee to grow 20 percent in 2012. By 2011, a Philippines has overtaken India as a a tip BPO end in a world. More than 500,000 Filipinos are now employed in BPO firms.

Ledoux pronounced 10 percent of BPO companies now handling in a Philippines are European companies.
